About Barcelona
Barcelona is the second largest city of Spain and counts almost 2 million habitants. The city is located on the northeast coast and has one of the largest ports of Spain. This is the reason why Barcelona has an impressive maritime history.
Every neighbourhood (‘Barrio’) of Barcelona has his own character and distinct personality. Gótico is the oldest neigbourhood of Barcelona, with her winding streets and her gothic architecture. El Born is a trendy neighbourhood with a lot of young habitants, trendy boutiques, tapasbars and cocktail lounges. The neighbourhood Barceloneta is located next to the sea and consists of narrow streets. The neighbourhood has a lot of ‘local’ as well international habitants.
We offer a range of accommodations in Barcelona. Depending on your preference and budget you will find easily an accommodation at our website.
Barcelona has a clear metro system; u can use the Public transtport 1 day for €5,90. Moreover, you can experience the sights of the city very easy on feet because of the simple structure of the streets and the beautiful different area’s.
You can find Modern Art on almost every corner of the street. The influence of the famous architect Gaudi is very recognizable. At the wide and famous boulevard La Rambla you can find a diversity of shops. For the more expensive shops u better visit the big shopstreets the Passeig de Gracia or the Diagonal. You can find the smaller and trendy boutiques in the narrow streets of El Born.
